Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
- ½ teaspoon ground mustard
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
Method
- Place eggs in single layer in 2-quart saucepan; add enough cold water so it is at least 1 inch above eggs. Heat to boiling; remove from heat. Cover; let stand 20 minutes. Drain; rinse with cold water. Let stand in ice water 10 minutes.
- Peel eggs; cut lengthwise in half. Slip out yolks into medium bowl; set egg whites aside. Mash yolks with fork until smooth; stir in mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper.
- Fill egg white halves with egg yolk mixture, heaping it lightly. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours
